Bircher Muesli

Makes you strong: for a healthy and yummy start into the day.

30 g raisins
1 vanilla bean
125 ml milk
100 g fine oats
400 g natural yoghurt
2 acidic flavored apples (e.g. Elstar)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
90 g almonds or hazel nut
6 tablespoons honey
Your favorite toppings such as blueberries, blackberries or strawberries.


Step 1
Cut vanilla bean in half lengthwise, scrape the seeds and mix them well with oats, milk and yogurt.
Step 2
Wash the apples, core and grate them and add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Roughly chop 50 g of almonds or hazelnut.
Step 3
Add the rest of the ingredients – not the berries – and season with honey. If possible soak the Bircher Muesli overnight.
Step 4
Remove from fridge 30 mins before serving, top with berries and add cinnamon (optional).
